MORENO VALLEY, CA — Sheriff's deputies are seeking leads on a suspect who allegedly held up a store at gunpoint early Friday morning in Moreno Valley.
The armed robbery occurred at approximately 4 a.m. in the 24000 block of John F. Kennedy Drive, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department. A convenience store is in the vicinity.
The suspect walked into the store, flashed a gun, and demanded money from the cash register, the department reported.
The store employee complied and the suspect took the cash then dashed away on foot, heading east, the department said.
The man was described as Black, approximately 20-30 years old, 6 feet tall, with an athletic build. He was wearing dark clothing with a hoodie pulled over his head, white shoes, and a black mask covering his face, according to the law enforcement agency.
"The suspect is still outstanding and considered armed and dangerous," the sheriff's department said.
No one was injured during the robbery.
